Understanding Our Worship

At Uniquely Different Family Church, we feel that worship is a personal experience between you and God.

Each person was created with a unique personality. Some people are expressive, while others are more reserved. Worship is exactly the same way.

We want you to feel comfortable to worship God in your own personal way. We would like to take this time to list some of the biblical ways of worship.

We lift up our hands during praise and worship as a simple sign of surrender to God.
Psalm 134:2 & 1 Timothy 2:8

We clap and shout to God.
Psalm 47:1

We speak in other tongues.
1 Corinthians 14:2

We dance before the Lord.
2 Samuel 6:14

We receive tithes and offerings.
Malachi 3:10 & Philippians 4:18

We lay hands on the sick.
Mark 16:17-18 & James 5:14-15
